Spencer Matthews is taking on the challenge of his lifetime; running 30 marathons in 30 days across the desert in the peak of summer.
Starting at the end of July, Spencer is aiming to set a world record while fundraising for Global’s Make Some Noise. 30 marathons in 30 days, across the desert in Jordan. This is going to be tough!
With soaring temperatures exceeding over 40 degrees in places, and scorching sun, Spencer will run the equivalent of 5 x The Marathon Des Sables (known as the toughest footrace on the planet). That’s 786 miles he will be covering!
This is an official Guinness World Record attempt for “the most consecutive marathons run on sand”, which makes it even more difficult.
