We were recently joined by supporters and friends for a very special reception in the State Rooms, Speaker’s House, House of Commons.
The evening was a celebration of our success over the past 12 months, including the £2.5million which we’ve been able to give to support some brilliant small charities across the UK.
Charities like If U Care Share, which is based in the North East. The charity has three aims: suicide prevention, intervention and support for those affected by suicide. David from the charity gave an inspiring speech to guests at the event about how the money from Make Some Noise will make a different to their vital work.
If U Care Share provides workshops for young people in the area, focusing on emotional and mental wellbeing; delivers training so that people can intervene should someone they know be feeling suicidal; and provides practical and emotional support for those affected by suicide.
We were delighted to be joined by famous faces from across the Global family – including Aled Jones, Anne-Marie Minhall, Ben Sheppard, Claire Chambers, Ed James, Gemma Hill, James O’Brien, Nick Ferrari, Rochelle Humes, Roman Kemp, Tim Westwood, Toby Anstis, Toby Tarrant, Tom Watts, Tony Dibbin and Vick Hope.
A big thank you to everyone for joining us, and for your ongoing support. We really couldn’t do it without you.
