Last night we united all Global’s brands, our famous friends and some very special guests for Global’s Make Some Noise Night. The glittering night was a huge success, raising an incredible £645,432 for small but brilliant projects across the UK.
Our guests were treated to some show-stopping performances from three surprise acts on the night, who seriously wowed the crowd!
First up to take to the stage was British superstar, Rita Ora, who performed an amazing acoustic set including her hits ‘I will never let you down’, ‘RIP’ and ‘Black Widdow.’
Next up was internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Ronan Keating, who had the audience singing along to some of his classics. He said: “When I was asked to do it I was delighted, the event last year raised a lot of money and where the money goes is incredibly important, for those charities that don’t have the opportunity to raise money like this, almost forgotten charities in a way, it’s important that Global do what they do.”
One of the UK’s biggest male solo artists, Olly Murs, had everyone on their feet as he belted out some of his huge hits, including his new single ‘Kiss Me’. Olly was involved with Make Some Noise Day last month, and it was a pleasure to welcome him to the stage, along with the other acts, last night.
He told us: “Like every year, everyone dug in and we raised lots of money again which is gonna help so many amazing charities so, that’s what it’s all about, you know, it’s about making noise and having a good time and making it fun.”
To end the incredible evening, Capital Xtra’s Craig David and Tim Westwood treated the guests to some amazing sets. What a night it was! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and so generously supported Global’s Make Some Noise.
