We’re really proud of all 72 of our runners who took part in the Brighton Half Marathon on Sunday 29th February for Global’s Make Some Noise – so far the team has raised over £20,000, with more money still coming in!
The runners were split into three teams – Team Jack, Team Tom and Team Nicola – and the Heart Sussex Breakfast presenters were there on the day to start the race. They also popped by to wish their team members lots of luck before they started running!
Every single one of our runners did an amazing job of completing the 13 mile course. Many personal bests were smashed, and for some, it was the first time they’d taken on a run of this length!
Do you fancy the taking on the challenge next year? If you’re feeling inspired by this year’s Brighton Half Marathon, you could be donning your trainers and very own Global’s Make Some Noise running vest to take on the beautiful seafront course in 2017.

With your support, we can make some noise for small but brilliant projects across the UK, helping to change the lives of disadvantaged youngsters and their families. Projects just like Whoopsadaisy in Brighton, which helps children with physical disabilities to live life as independently as possible.
Adam, aged 3, joined Whoopsadaisy in September 2013, and the support he has received has been life-changing. His mum told us:
“When he joined Whoopsadaisy, Adam couldn’t sit on the floor or a stool unaided. Now he can crawl, go from sitting-to-standing unaided, and can walk with a ‘push rollator’ walking aid. We feel positive and hopeful for Adam’s future and Whoopsadaisy has played a big part in this. Adam’s confidence, and ours, has grown and our family life has improved enormously.”
