A Heart listener has won the ultimate prize after her ‘Chicken Katsu Curry’ was chosen by KETTLE® Chips as their new seasoning to be sold in stores! Laura from Ipswich suggested the winning ‘Chicken Katsu Curry’, and the experts at KETTLE® set about making it happen, using 100% real food ingredients to replicate the popular Japanese-inspired dish.
Laura says: “I was sitting in my car waiting for my sister to finish work and spent 15 minutes contemplating what I thought would make a good flavour, coming up with ludicrous ideas at first, and then it came to me – ‘Katsu Curry’! I debated whether to even enter, but thought ‘why not’, and a few weeks later I get a phone call to say that I had won. My first reaction was to laugh, because I couldn’t believe the odds!”
